We are trying to create an OLAP connection from IDT to BPC using the new BI 4.1 Planning and Consolidation 10 for Microsoft Platform middle ware and failing.
We have been able to connect to the MSAS server via Excel using both the "Data – Other Sources – Analysis Services connection" method and the EPM plugin.
However, from Excel when we use the Data - Other Sources - Analysis Services method with the BPC middleware URL (as suggested by sap support) the connection fails.

We have run into a dead end on our side and are now trying to work with BPC support for help with this.
Has anyone got this to work correctly and if so, how?
