Creating Universe on top of Hadoop Hive

Dear All,

I am very new to this scenario, my client is having impala tables in hadoop hive 5.2. I need to connect Business Objects universe to create the schema.

My Questions are:

1. Prerequisite to proceed.

2. Can we use UDT to create the universe ? I know we can use IDT but i am more concerned on UDT.

3. I have Hadoop has a VMWare are Business objects 4.1 sp3 both are in a single machine, what else is required to connect. Do i need any drivers as a middle-ware if so where can i get it and how to deploy it.
