Hi,
I have an issue in which my IDT universe seems to have lost the link between the joins and tables in the data layer and the connection. This initially started after I renamed the data layer and business layers. I have tried recreating the connection and fixing it in the data layer, nothing seems to work.
Under the data foundation option in the data layer, the joins and table are listed under 'Data Source Undefined'. However the correct connection exists and this has the same name as always - and this name is referenced in the joins and tables.
If I try to view data in table then I get an error message - Data source cannot be null
If I select a table under the data foundation table list I get a java.lang.NullPointerException error message.
If I try to insert a table and get an "insert tables" error message
The connection is working in the sense that I can see the databases and tables, and each if these appears with a green tick if it exists in the data layer.
Our external support could not help so I have a call raised with SAP but it could take a while to get a response. Does anyone knows how to resolve or even troubleshoot this?
